Chicken Curry

Ingredients

  • 2lb Chicken

  • ½ lb Potatoes

  • ½ Tin Tomatoes

  • 2 tsp Dhaniya powder (coriander) powder

  • 1 tsp Jeera powder (cumin) powder

  • 1 tsp Haldi powder (tumeric) powder

  • ½ tsp Chilli powder

  • 1 small Onion (chopped)

  • 1 clove Garlic (grated)

  • ½  tsp Ginger (grated)

  • 2 tsp salt

  • Cooking oil

Preparation

  1. Put onions in pot and fry in oil (until slightly brown)

  2. Add garlic and ginger and fry a bit

  3. Little bit later add spices and salt and stir

  4. Add little bit water and stir

  5. Add tomatoes and mash them

  6. Add the chicken and let it seal (it should look cooked)

  7. Cook it for 15 minutes (low heat)

  8. Add potatoes

  9. Add boiling water (enough to cover the Chicken & Potatoes)

  10. Bring it to boil and then simmer it for 15 minutes
