Chilli Con Carne

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Mincemeat

  • 1 tin Plum tomatoes

  • 1 tin Red kidney beans

  • 1 small Onion

  • 1 clove Garlic

  • 1 tsp Cornflour (mix with small cup of water)

  • 1/4 tsp Dhaniya (coriander) powder

  • 1/4 tsp Jeera (cumin) powder

  • 1/4 tsp  Haldi (turmeric) powder

  • Pinch of Chilli powder

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

  • 1 tsp Mixed herbs 

  • 1 tsp Chicken seasoning

  • 1 tsp American barbecue seasoning

Preparation

  1. Fry the onion and garlic (until onion take colour)

  2. Add mince meat

  3. Cook it until all the mince has separated and it tries to catch at the bottom

  4. Add everything except tomatoes, cornflower and red kidney beans

  5. Cook it little bit then add tomato

  6. Cook at high heat for 2 minutes until tomatoes melt

  7. Add water (cover the meat with water)

  8. Cook the mince for 1/2 an hour

  9. Add cornflour mixture and red kidney beans and simmer for 20 minutes at lowest temperature and stir every 5 minutes

  10. Allow to cool for 5 minutes
