Ingredients
1 lb Mincemeat
1 tin Plum tomatoes
1 small onion
1 clove garlic
Sprinkle oregano
Pinch chilli powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 pack of lasagne sheets or pasta
Preparation
Fry the onion and garlic
Add mince meat
Cook it until all the mince has separated and it tries to catch at the bottom
Add everything else except tomatoes
Cook it for a minute
Add tomatoes
Cook at high heat for 2 minutes until tomatoes melt
Simmer for 20 minutes at lowest temperature, stirring every 5 minutes
If using pasta, cook in pot with water until soft. Lasagne sheets don't need pre-cooking
Make cheese sauce following cheese sauce recipe
Preheat oven to 180 fan (gas mark 6)
Layer the lasagne in an oven dish - meat, pasta then sauce
Sprinkle grated cheese on the top
Cook in oven for 30 mins
